The Joint Tsunami Commission Business Meeting took place in Sendai, Japan, on July 2, 2021.
The vast majority of members joined the meeting on-line due to the COVID19 pandemic situation.
The chair, Professor Tanioka, made tributes to tsunami researchers who passed away in the past two years:
Paula Dunbar, Bruce Richmond, Byung Ho Choi, Evgueny Kulikov,Alexei Ivashchenko.
